When in 2003 FAMIQ made the decision to start a production unit for Manlids under the BOYER license, the world’s most prestigious producer of the sector, we thought of a strategy which would not only supply the Argentine market with BOYER standard models, but also would enable us to develop new products based on our customers needs even beyond our borders.
We began by importing spare parts and assembling them at our plant. Then, as new technology and specialized staff were incorporated, we went on to produce round, rectangular and oval lids, manufacturing up to 300 different models.
Today all Famiq’s products are manufactured in our country, including a few designs of our own compliant with the Mercosur market standard.
The Food and Drink Industry has gradually been requiring us to develop models to meet their needs, thus allowing us to insert innovative standards in the market which, due to their good functioning, have been introduced by our license holders into the French-Italian and Spanish markets as the innovative “FAMIQ Design”.
